Acceptd helps students explore college information, browse privacy-aware admissions outcomes, and contribute their own results. By using the platform, you agree to use it responsibly and share only information you have the right to submit.

Using the platform

  • College profile pages may be available publicly for general exploration.
  • Some admissions browsing and profile actions require an account and may be limited to signed-in users.
  • We may change, improve, limit, or remove features over time as the product evolves.

Accounts and access

  • You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
  • Do not share your login, impersonate another user, or attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use.
  • We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being misused or used in a way that harms students or the platform.

Profiles and student-submitted data

  • Students are responsible for the information they submit, including academics, activities, achievements, and college outcomes.
  • Only submit information that is your own, that you have permission to share, and that you are comfortable having reviewed and, if approved, shown in the product's privacy-aware format.
  • Do not submit someone else's personal information without permission, and do not use the platform to mislead others about admissions outcomes.
  • Submitted profiles may be reviewed, approved, rejected, or sent back for changes by admins before they appear to other users.

Privacy-aware display

  • Student-facing profile pages are designed to be anonymous and use display aliases rather than direct real-name identity.
  • Even with privacy-aware presentation, any information you choose to submit may still contribute to how others understand a profile or admissions outcome.
  • Admins may see more detailed internal information than other students so they can moderate submissions, review claims, and operate the platform safely.
  • If you believe information about you is inaccurate or should not appear on the platform, you may contact Acceptd to request review, correction, or removal.

College pages and summaries

  • College pages may combine external education data, Acceptd-generated signals, and AI-generated summaries to help users explore a school.
  • That information is intended for general guidance and product exploration, not as a guarantee that any college information is complete, current, or error-free.
  • Users should verify important details directly with the college or official school materials before acting on them.

Accuracy and responsible use

  • Acceptd does not guarantee admission outcomes, scholarship results, or the accuracy of every user submission.
  • Do not scrape, bulk-copy, republish, or misuse the platform's content in a way that harms students, schools, or the service.
  • Use Acceptd as a learning tool and starting point, not as the only source for high-stakes academic or admissions decisions.
